Struggling to find a good man? It may be your mindset

“We become what we think about – Energy flows where attention goes”

What sort of mindset do you have when it comes to men?

Do you have a mindset of abundance or scarcity? If you have a mindset of abundance then you will always be surrounded by men. You find yourself meeting interesting and eligible men all the time. You can’t help but attract their attention and they just seem to keep on coming!

Unfortunately, a lot of single women have a mindset of scarcity. They keep telling themselves repeatedly that all the good men are either taken or gay, and the leftovers are not worth their time.

Does this sound familiar?

I am a strong believer that the universe responds to the energy that you put out. It’s a basic law of attraction; if you have an abundance mindset, you will see an abundance of opportunities. If you have a scarcity mindset, the universe is going to keep projecting that image back to you. You are going to continue to find that all the good men are already in a committed relationship with other women (or men!).

“Follow your bliss and the universe will open doors where there were only walls”

I have an abundance mindset. A great example of this is my experience during the period after my marriage ended. Within three months of separating, there were a few men showing interest in me – including my current partner.

In truth, I was happy being single and wasn’t looking to begin another relationship, but having a mindset that allowed me to be open to new possibilities and opportunities meant that love came back into my life soon after my marriage ended. My partner and I started our relationship less than six months after my separation and we have been together ever since. I am attracted to my man because he accepts my past and loves me for who I am.

My single girlfriends found it hard to believe that it was so easy for me to find another man so quickly. They have been searching for Mr Right their entire lives and are still searching. I shared my views about the abundance mindset but they didn’t believe me. They justified their position by saying that I’m sociable so it’s easier for me to meet men, and they were not open to changing their minds.

It’s very hard to help people if they are not willing to be helped. It is like losing weight; many people want to lose weight, but they are not willing to change their diet and lifestyle. We choose how we think about things. We can be optimistic or pessimistic; we can seek abundance or find scarcity. The way you think about things is up to you.

I believe that if you open yourself up to abundance, you will find more of what you’re looking for.
